The visit of the rector of the National Academy of Governance under the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of Mongolia Zulfikar Sarkit

IMG 3276The rector of the National Academy of Governance under the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of Mongolia Zulfikar Sarkit visited the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Memorandum of understanding was signed during the visit. The Parties agreed to collaborate in the sphere of training of cadres and research activity.
In the end of the visit, Zulfikar Sarkit expressed hope for further strengthening of cooperation with the Academy.

The delegation of the Academy of public administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in Gaidar forum – 2017

On January 11 – 14, 2017 traditional Gaidar forum was held in Moscow gathering theoreticians and practitioners, leading world scientists and politicians, representatives of top financial circles and global business elite. 

The delegation of the Academy of public administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan consisting of the Academy rector F. Zhakypova and vice-rector for academic affairs and information technology A. Akhmetov took part in the forum.

Lee Kuan Yew School of Public of Policy shared its experience on human resources

IMG 8800The Lecturer from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public of Policy National University of Singapore Laura Lim shared her experience on human recources with the civil servants who study in the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She told about the work of the organization, new ways of recruitment and advanced trainings for employees. She said that every member of any organization is eligible for retraining and continuous growth. She added that employees as well as the employers should be interested in it. According to her, successful companies create all the favorable conditions for their employees and treat them as customers. In such environment, people feel their value and work with absolute dedication. Ms Lim compared the work of the public services with an orchestra, where each plays his or her part in the composition.

Meeting of professors from Finland with undergraduates and doctoral candidates of National school of public policy

IMG 8446Today representatives of the academic mobility, professors Elina Vankhemping and Timo Toykko have helded a master class on a subject "Model of social wellbeing of the Scandinavian countries" fot undergraduates of speciality "MPP" and doctoral candidates of speciality "Social work".

Seminar on leadership in public administration has started with the participation of experts from Civil Service College Singapore in the Academy

From 5 to 13 October, 2016 the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in association with Civil Service College Singapore (CSCS) and Temasek Foundation International is holding seminars on Leadership, Human Resouce Management and Economic development.  
     Acting Director of Civil Service Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Civil Service Affairs Mr. Zharkyn Tleukenov, Chairman of the Executive Board of the NJSC “State owned corporation “Government for citizens” Mr. Daniyar Erenchiyev as well as teaching-academic staff of the Academy gave a lecture during the first day of the seminar.

IMG 6065From June 13 to October 7, 2016, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – the Academy) jointly with Committee on Language Development, Social and Political Work of the Ministry of Culture and Sport has held a range of language training workshops and distant seminars aimed at developing common approaches and requirements to improve the level of professional knowledge of official language and implementing the threelinguism program.
Main objectives of “Enhancing Linguistic Competence of Civil Servants” project is to advance the system for improving the linguistic competence of civil servants in the framework of implementing five institutional reforms and introducing the innovative methods of civil servants` training.

British experts share experience in the field of anti-corruption

October 3 – 5, 2016, at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan international British experts - Neil David McCallum and Timothy Sault, experienced experts and consultants in the field of anti-corruption and anti-fraud, have been conducting a training seminar on the topic “Anti-corruption in public and quasi-public sectors”.
Dr. Neil David McCallum has 30 years of experience as a manager and consultant as well as an external advisor in making functional analysis, developing capacity building, implementing change management and in monitoring and control of improvements in delivering of public service. He is an expert on anti-corruption issues, focuses on the efficiency of public sector development, and finally a managing partner of EUNOIA Company. Dr. McCallum designed and managed different projects for government agencies located in Bangladesh, Botswana, Ethiopia, the Caribbean, Nigeria, Palestine, Somalia, South Africa, Uganda, Ukraine, Zambia and Zimbabwe as well as for such partners as the department for international development of the UK, British Council, Commonwealth Secretariat, European Union, World Bank, UNDP.
