THE ACADEMY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN HANNS SEIDEL FOUNDATION

cordially invite you to take part in II Academic symposium “Effective public administration”. Date: November 26, 2010 Place: the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana, the Academy of Public Administration

The main directions of the symposium:
1. National and foreign policy in the context of globalization.
2. Conceptual aspects of the reform of the judicial and legislative systems.
3. Public administration reform in post-crisis period.
4. Effective personnel management and training for public service.
5. Industrial and innovative development of Kazakhstan's economy.

Working languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

Program of the symposium includes plenary and breakout sessions. Session subjects will be formed in the process of preparation of the symposium program.

To participate in the symposium you need to send the following documents before October 26, 2010 to the e-mail of the organizing committee:

1. The report text of no more than 3 pages in Kazakh, Russian or English in the electronic version in Word for Windows, with 1,5 line spacing, font «Times New Roman» / «Kz Times New Roman», size 14. Page setup: top - 1,5 cm, bottom - 1,5 cm, left - 2 cm, right - 2 cm. References to scientific sources should be indicated in square brackets, in accordance with the list of references. The text of the report should reflect the theme of the symposium, reconciled and edited. Undergraduates and doctoral candidates must submit a review of their supervisor. The materials are published in author's edition.
2. The information about the author of the report (in accordance with the Appendix).
3. The publication fee of 4000 tenge should be paid to the Academy’s current bank account.

Travel expenses are to be covered by the sending organization.
